Horseback Riding

Horse lovers and novices alike can enjoy entertaining rides while exploring the depths of the beautiful Patagonian forests on a variety of trails throughout the Reserve. Younger guests can also enjoy this exciting activity with fun pony rides.

Mounted on our magnificent horses, we will travel along the border of the tranquil El Toro River, and then move into a thick forest of native trees including hazel trees, mañíos, and coigües, among others. Finally we will enter a clearing, from which we will have a stunning view of the Mocho-Choshuenco volcano.

This horseback ride, aimed at the more experienced rider, will first enter the Patagonian temperate rain forest, which will offer a chance to see native trees such as coigües and beech trees. Once at the top of the overlook, we can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Lanin, Villarrica and Quetrupillán volcanoes, and the Pirehueico and Neltume lakes.
