If you want to combine mountaineering and science, this activity is perfect for you. Our guides will provide you with the necessary technical equipment to climb the millennial glacier located in the plateau of the Mocho Choshuenco Volcano. At 1,980 meters high, strung and with crampons, you will learn how the glaciers and volcanoes of the area behave and you will visit the various monitoring stations to find out how much the volcano’s ice has grown or decreased or how the albedo of snow has changed due to the deposits of particulate matter that come from nearby cities. This adventure is suitable for beginners as well as for mountain experts.
